Parents' Night Out!!

On Saturday, April 21, 2012, Team Legacy will be holding a Parents' Night Out (PNO) at the dojang. It will be for kids ages 6-11, both students and non-students of YBTKD. All teenaged Team Legacy members will be expected to assist. The funds raised from this fundraiser will be used to purchase a set of electronic chest gear. Since such chest gear are becoming more common for the 12-32 black belt divisions, we feel that practicing with them occasionally will benefit our team members. The non-teenaged Team members can attend the PNO for no cost. Please talk up the fundraiser to friends and other YBTKD families. We are looking for 40 kids to attend! That is the maximum number of spaces we have for the evening.

Activities will include:

• dodge ball
• paddle ball
• active video games (dance dance revolution, Wii sports, etc.)
• a couple of G rated movies

We will provide pizza from Pizza Jim there on Hwy 6. I am asking for Team parents to contribute a snack item such as pretzels, chips, popcorn (we have a microwave), cookies, etc. and a few drinks such as liters of soda, water bottles (small ones since they always take a few sips and loose the bottle), Capri Suns, etc. I will need assistance with set up and clean up. All teenaged team members are expected to be part of the set up and clean up activities.We will also need to borrow a couple of TVs and a video game consuls with an active video game or two.
